Although Audi’s lineage in the United States market is not as extensive as companies such as Chevrolet or Ford, they have been offering more and more models in the past decade, and the “alphabet soup” that represents the chassis lineup can be confusing. Because so many websites use these chassis types to designate forums or products for a car, we thought it would be helpful to compile a “cheat-sheet” of sorts to help you wade your way through Audi’s offerings. Included on the chart is the chassis designation, model, and years, engines, transmissions, and drivetrains that were offered in North America. Hopefully this will clear up any confusion, and shed some light on Audi’s alphabet soup.
